INTERNATIONAL COUNSEL OF THIRTEEN INDIGENOUS GRANDMOTHERS

Indigenous Grandmothers from around the world held counsel last week in Montana on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.  Morning walks were accompanied by wolves visiting from California. Songs in many languages, drums, flutes, dances and prayers sent invitations to  the Star Nations.  Around the central fire Buddhists meditated, a shaman from Nepal called in the goddesses from  corners of the earth by name, as a pipe ceremony honored the ancesters. The Mayan Grandmother, Florademayo spoke of the crystal skull and her visions of the Emerald World.
Shooting stars lit the sky. Wolves howled their primal translinguistic knowing.
Women formed dream circles, exchanged common visions, sang, cried and danced together as the prayers rang out healing  generational wounds of the people. Warriors protected the sacred space as children laughed. 
             GOOD MEDICINE.
